Pulse Yacht Design is a design studio with extensive experience in naval architecture, mechanical engineering and interior and exterior design, offering development services and complete design packages for steel, aluminium and composite vessels: sailing boats, motor yachts, special and cargo ships.
Our creative team has done a number of successfully completed, notable and award-winning projects, carried out for some of the most famous world brands. Leo is a naval architect with over 20 years of experience, as well as one of the founding partners of Pulse Yacht Design. He was born in Split, where he graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, after which he immediately started working in the shipbuilding industry, i.e. in its various branches. He worked for 17 years in the Split shipyard, ‘Brodosplit’, where he took his professional path from an assistant designer to a designer and head of steel assemblies technology. At the same time, he worked in several project studies on making project designs and preparing detailed documentation for passenger ships, special cargo ships and superyachts.
In 2007 he became a member of the development team in the company AD Boats, where he worked as a designer on a whole range of Salona yachts, the head of development and technical manager. In the company AD Boats, he was in charge of designing the structure, technology and boat systems, and he participated in the implementation of manufacturing GRP products using vacuum infusion procedure, as well as many other innovative processes.
At the end of 2015, he co-founded Pulse Yacht Design, of which he is a co-owner, and where he works on the development of new models for clients such as Bavaria Yachts, More Boats and SeaWind Catamarans.
Kresimir is a mechanical engineer with years of experience working in the automotive and shipbuilding industry. He is one of the founding partners and co-owners of Pulse Yacht Design, where he works on the development of models for Bavaria Yachts, More Boats, SeaWind Catamarans and other clients.
After having graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture in 2000, he started working in the CadCam Design Centre, where he worked in various industries as PLM expert for the implementation of 3D CAD software tools. Over the years he became the head of the Engineering and Services Department in the company CadCam Design Centre. He was often a member of project offices in the automotive and shipbuilding industry, as well as in the energy sector.
He worked for the Croatian Shipbuilding Institute on the development of fishing, police and coast guard ships, as well as yachts of up to 40 meters in length. In 2011, he joined the R&D department in the company AD Boats in Solin, where he worked on the development of Salona sailing yachts. At the end of 2015 he co-founded Pulse Yacht Design together with his colleagues.
He has been working on 3D modelling of GRP parts, technological development, as well as on drafting production designs and instructions. He is in charge of the arrangement of boat equipment and systems, construction of the interior parts and mechanical calculations.
Maja is a product and interior designer with 10 years of experience in yacht design, and she is the key person for exterior and interior design and styling. She has worked on a number of yacht development projects, from the initial idea to the final product. She has excellent knowledge of shipbuilding technology, boat furniture production process, the choice of materials and equipment, and she uses different 2D and 3D software in designing.
After having graduated product design from the School of Design at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Zagreb in 1997, she started working as furniture and interior designer in the company M& M.
Since 2008 she has been working as a designer in yacht building industry, as a member of the development team in the company AD Boats, where she designed interiors for models such as Salona 33, Salona 35, Salona 38, Salona 41, Salona 44, Salona 60, Salona 67, Salona 380 and Salona 530.
Since 2016, she has also been working as a lecturer, at the University Department of Professional Studies at the University of Split, where she shares her professional competences with students.
At the end of 2015, together with her colleagues she co-founded Pulse Yacht Design, of which she is a co-owner, and where she designs interiors for clients such as Bavaria Yachts, More Boats and SeaWind Catamarans.

Our work covers all stages of yacht design and building process, including styling, optimisation, 3D modelling, hydrodynamics, 3D visualisation, FEM analysis, full engineering services and on-site supervision to owners, shipbuilders, naval architects and yacht designers.
We have experience in product design, steel structures, mechanical engineering, designing tools and equipment for shipbuilding and automotive industry, and we apply the latest technology and materials from a range of industries during design.
Designing and integrating engines, hydraulics, plumbing installations , electrical and electronics , HVAC within the yacht structure and the interior accommodations, while taking care of their accessibility for service and maintenance.
